Archive for June, 2013

A couple of weeks ago I travelled to a derelict farmhouse with Tim and Pearl with the aim of shooting images for the book cover market. The farmhouse was a fantastic find by Tim and not too vandalised or open to the weather. These are some of my favourite images from the session.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

Here’s a sneak peek from the zombie type shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. Full post coming very soon. First up sometime this week will be a post from the derelict farmhouse shoot, followed by the zombie images, a portrait shoot in Bristol, high fashion in London and hopefully back to the dark stuff. Enjoy

Canon EOS M Update

After using the Canon EOS M for a couple of months and on a recent shoot with a model with my EF 50mm attached I have decided to keep it as a back up for model shoots and a carry around when out and about with the family.

The auto focus is still a problem. It’s so slow compared to my aging 5d Mk II. Hopefully the promised firmware upgrade at the end of the month will improve it. I just wish Canon would release a lens road map as a 55-200mm(88-320mm) any time soon would be very nice. Here’s an image with the M and my 50mm attached.

I am not doing very well with blog posts at the moment as I’ve got a backlog of images to process and shoots booked every weekend until the end of June. I think I have over committed myself, so it’s looking like July will be a month of processing images.
