I still can’t believe how lucky I was to be asked to be the photographer on this shoot. The shoot took place during June after 3 months of planning as it took time to find a location and finding a date we were all available.

Here’s a sneak peek from the zombie type shoot I did a couple of weeks ago. Full post coming very soon. First up sometime this week will be a post from the derelict farmhouse shoot, followed by the zombie images, a portrait shoot in Bristol, high fashion in London and hopefully back to the dark stuff. Enjoy

Here’s a very quick walk through on how I processed this image. Click here

The first step was to find a suitable image for the background. I found this one on Deviantart. I used the refined edge tool to cut the model out and placed her onto the new background.

Then I added blood to the sword and her dress, added some shadows matched the colours and finally sharpen parts of the image.

Hope you enjoyed the quick walkthrough.

A couple of weeks ago I worked with my photography buddy Tim at Hengrove studios. The plan was to photograph a group of friends who are all into Cosplay. We were expecting 10-12 people, but only 4 showed. As we had a lot more time with each person we decided to move out of the studio and shoot some location stuff.

I love the steampunk style so these images are my favourites from the session.

There are more images to come from this session, so expect another 2-3 posts and maybe a some processing details.
